Titanic hit the cinemas in 1997 and Celine Dions "My heart will go on", hit the charts and became a big hit in 90s music. A fun fact is that at first the director, James Cameron didn´t want a title song for the movie, but when he heard "My heart will go on" he changed his mind and now it is completly unimaginable to think that the movie could exist with out on of the most memorable and breathetaking songs of the 90s.
The song was originaly an instrumental piece only, composed by James Horner which is used in several parts of the movie as background music, it was called "The love theme" at that point. Later the songs lyrics was written by Will Jennings. The song was includet as the titletrack for the "Titanic - soundtrack" and on Celine Dions own album "Let´s Talk About Love". "My Heart Will Go On" went on to be one of the biggest selling singles i history and a massive hit in 1998.
