SPICE GIRLS

"I tell what I want, what I really really want" - this was the first words from 5 girls each with different personalities sent to compete with boybands such as, Take That, backstreetboys and east 17, who all had massiv succes. In 1996 the Spice Girls arrived with a bang! The first singel "wannabe" hit number in 37 countries around the world. So if it was succes they wanted, they got it! Theyfast became a true 90s phenomenon.

The group was formed in 1994 under the name Touch by Heart Management. After the formation the groupe moved in to a house together and got singing and dancing lessons. Due to lack of confidence in their management the girls started to look elsewhere. They signed up with a new manager, Simon Fuller and got a recorddeal with Virgin Records in 95 and changed the groupname to Spice Girls.
The next years for the Spice Girls would go on from succes to succes.
All 4 singels from first album Spice became big sellers both in Europe and USA. They landet big sponsor deals, started selling merchandise and touring the world.
