Michael Jordan - 90s sports star

Michael Jordan was a mega star in the 90s. His talent and carisma made him known world wide and not only brought titels in the sport of basketball but also massive sponsordeals and roles in hollywood movies.

Jordan had already made a name of him self in NBA in the 80s but his personal succes winng both an MVP titel and a best defensive player titel didn´t get him any titels until the 90s. Jordan and the Chicago Bulls won 6 NBA titels in the 90s. from 91 to 93 and from 96 to 98.

Jordan had retired from basket after the titel in 93 to try is talent in baseball and returned to NBA and Chicago Bulls for the 95-96 season.

Michael Jordan was very emotional after the first titel in the 90-91 season.

Michaels Jordan was a part of the original Dream Team from the olympics in Barcelona ´92 where the NBA-players participated in the olympic Basket Turnement for the first time. Beside Jordan the Dream Team featured star players like Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Scottie Pippen, Patrick Ewing and Magic Johnson. The Dream Team won the Olympic tournement beating Venezuela 127 - 80 in the final.

Michael Jordans rise to fame also brought him to the big screen in the 1996 movie "Space Jam" where he played along side the famous characters frome the Looney Toons, like Bugs Bunny and Daffy the duck and actor Bill Muray.
