Worldwide succes
Smash is third album from The the Offspring and was released in 1994. The album sold more 11 million worldwide making it the best selling album from an indipendent label, "Epitaph Records". "Smash" is widely considered as an important record for its time and genre as it brought punkrock back to the mainstream charts.
The singles from Smash
Smash brought 3 singles where the second single became the biggest hit and bought The Offspring to worldwide stardom. The singels were:
First single out "Smash" were "Come out and play"
"Self Esteem" is still today one of The Offspring´s biggest hits and it was the single that brought the band into the mainstream charts and radio worldwide.
Final single "Gonna get away" didn´t quite reach the same succes as the 2 first singles but reached good chart placings anyway.
