Titanic, biggest movie of 1997.

In 1997 the movie "Titanic" hit the cimenas all over the world. Titanic was directed, written, co-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron whom has directed hits like Terminator 1984 and Terminator 2 from 1991.  Titanic starres young actors Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio in the rolls as Rose, a young girl traviling on first class with rich family and Jack, traveling on 3rd class winning the ticket in gambling, just minutes before the depature of Titanic.

The love story and tradegy, between the rich, unhappy girl and the poor lifehappy boy became a massive succes and it won 11 oscars including for best movie.

Even today scenes from the movie is remberred and referred to , like "the king of the world" scene.

Titanic made Kate Winslet and Leonardo de Caprio hollywood superstars and especially Dicaprio  has severel award winning movies alllthough the phrase "when will Dicaprio get his oscar?" ever since Titanic. He finally got an Oscar for best actor for his role in "The Revenant" in 2016.

At first the director James Cameron didn´t want a title song for the movie but when he heard "My heart will go on" he changed his mind. It became a massive worldwide hit in 1998.
